The 629 series has sold out and is being succeeded by the ePipe 659, in production now. The 659 keeps the classic pipe form and hardwood construction, with manual LED button operation in place of the 629's airflow sensor.
Your existing 629 accessories carry over. The Churchwarden long-stem mouthpiece fits the 659, as do our hardwood stands and travel pouches.

The 629 X3 was the final and most refined revision of our ebony vape pipe, and the flagship of a series we built continuously from 2007. Ebony is among the most prized dark hardwoods in the world, and each bowl was turned and hand-polished individually, so the grain on every pipe was slightly different.
It was designed for a specific kind of vaper: someone who wanted the weight, the slow draw and the ritual of a traditional briar pipe, and had no interest in cloud-chasing. The seven reviews below, several from verified buyers, are from that audience.

What the X3 revision changed
Each generation of the 629 came from customer feedback. The X3 introduced the mesh technology atomizer, which our customers had asked for - a smoother draw and more vapour than the previous coil, without turning the pipe into a box mod.
It also stopped making you choose between finishes. Earlier revisions shipped with either a silver or a gold Flat LED cap; the X3 included one of each, so the pipe could be matched to a watch or a pair of cuff-links, or used to colour-code e-liquids - gold for tobacco, silver for sweets.
Spare parts remain available
Although the kit is sold out, we continue to stock 629-series spares - tanks, coils, batteries, bowls, caps and stems - so existing 629 owners are not left without support. That has always been the point of building a pipe rather than a disposable.
