ePipe 659 Hardwood Vape Pipe
The sixth generation of the ePuffer electronic pipe brings thoughtful upgrades to a classic design. The 659 features a solid rosewood or ebony bowl, along with a redesigned refillable glass tank with integrated child-lock protection. We also reworked the electronics and moved them into the LED cap to improve long-term durability and reliability.
What’s new with the ePipe 659
The 659 builds on everything we’ve learned from previous generations, with a redesigned tank, updated electronics and several thoughtful improvements for everyday use.
Child-Lock Tank
The refillable glass tank has been redesigned with integrated child-lock protection for added peace of mind. A simple lift-and-slide mechanism keeps the filling opening securely closed when not in use, and automatically locks again when the mouthpiece holder returns to the centre position.
Electronics in the LED Cap
For the 659, we completely redesigned the internal layout and moved the electronics into the LED cap. The cap now houses the electronics, activation button and LED indicator, while the bowl remains solid hardwood. This new design improves long-term reliability and makes the 659 easier to maintain for years to come.
Button Activation with LED Indicator
The ePipe 659 is activated with a simple press of the LED cap. Press five times quickly to switch the pipe on or off. During use, the LED glows red and flashes when the battery is running low.
Automatic Shutdown
After 20 minutes of inactivity, the ePipe 659 automatically switches off. This helps prevent accidental activation while the pipe is being carried or stored, while also preserving battery life.
Compatible with the Churchwarden Mouthpiece
The ePipe 659 is compatible with our optional Churchwarden mouthpiece, giving the pipe a longer, more traditional profile. It’s an easy way to change the look and feel of the 659 while keeping the same tank and bowl.

How it works
The ePipe 659 uses a 2 ml refillable glass tank, giving you the freedom to enjoy your preferred e-liquid, including any blend from our e-liquid range. It can also be used with 0 mg/mL e-liquid if you prefer to vape nicotine-free. The clear glass makes it easy to see when it’s time for a refill.
Inside the tank, a replaceable 1.0 ohm coil heats the e-liquid to produce vapour. When flavour or vapour production begins to decline, simply replace the coil and continue using the same tank.
There is no combustion, ash or ember - just the familiar feel of a traditional pipe in a modern electronic format.

E-PIPE 659 FAQ
-
The ePipe 659 introduces several major upgrades over the 629, including a redesigned tank with integrated child-lock protection, electronics relocated to the LED cap, and button activation with an LED indicator. It also features automatic shutdown after 20 minutes of inactivity and is compatible with our optional Churchwarden long-stem mouthpiece.
-
To access the filling opening, lift the mouthpiece holder and slide it in the direction of the marked triangle. This two-step action helps prevent accidental access to the e-liquid.After filling, simply slide the mouthpiece holder back to the centre position and it locks automatically - no separate latch or button required.
-
Press the LED cap button five times quickly to switch the ePipe 659 on or off. The LED glows red during use and flashes when the battery is running low.For added protection, the 659 automatically switches off after 20 minutes of inactivity. To use it again, simply press the button five times quickly to power it back on.
-
Lift the mouthpiece holder and slide it in the direction of the marked triangle to open the filling port. Add e-liquid through the opening, taking care not to fill the centre airflow tube. When finished, slide the mouthpiece holder back to the centre position and it will lock automatically.
After filling a new or completely dry coil, allow the tank to stand for 3-5 minutes before use so the e-liquid can fully saturate the wick.
Note: Refill the tank before the e-liquid level drops below one-quarter full. Running the coil nearly dry can shorten its life and cause a burnt taste.
-
The 1.0 ohm coil is located inside the tank base.-
Unscrew the tank base counterclockwise to remove it.
-
Unscrew the old coil counterclockwise.
-
Install the new coil by turning it clockwise until secure.
-
Reassemble the tank and refill with e-liquid.
After installing a new coil, allow the filled tank to stand for at least 5 minutes before use so the wick can fully absorb the e-liquid.
Clear the airflow path: After every second refill, hold the tank with the mouthpiece facing downward and shake it firmly three or four times before reattaching it to the bowl. This helps clear condensation from the airflow channel and keeps the draw clear.
Replace the coil when flavour or vapour production begins to decline, or if you notice a persistent burnt taste. Every ePipe 659 kit includes five replacement coils.

-
The ePipe 659 is designed for standard vape e-liquids and uses a refillable tank, so you are free to choose the flavour and nicotine strength that suits you. For a more traditional pipe experience, we recommend English Flake, our pipe tobacco-inspired blend and a natural match for the ePipe 659.
Our e-liquids are available in a range of nicotine strengths, including 0 mg/mL nicotine-free options. Use vape e-liquid only. Do not fill the tank with oils or any other liquids.
-
Some parts are compatible, but not all. The ePipe 659 uses a completely redesigned tank and coil system, so 629 tanks and coils will not fit the 659.
Both models use the same 18350 battery format, so compatible batteries and chargers can continue to be used.
We will also continue to stock ePipe 629 replacement parts. The arrival of the 659 does not mean support for the 629 is going away. If you’re unsure which part you need, contact us with your ePipe model and we’ll help you choose the correct one.
-
Yes, but the ePipe 659 and its batteries should travel in your carry-on baggage, not checked luggage. Spare 18350 batteries should be protected against short circuits using a battery case, their original packaging or by covering the terminals. Before flying, empty the tank and detach it from the bowl. Changes in cabin pressure can cause a filled tank to leak.
E-liquid can be carried in containers, subject to standard carry-on liquid restrictions.
Do not use or charge the ePipe during the flight, and always check your airline’s requirements before travelling.
-
A few simple habits will help keep your ePipe 659 performing at its best:-
Clear the airflow path. After every second refill, hold the tank with the mouthpiece facing downward and shake it firmly three or four times. This helps clear condensation from the airflow channel.
-
Wipe away condensation. A small amount of condensation around the mouthpiece holder is normal. Simply wipe it away with a clean, dry tissue. If you notice persistent leaking, please contact us.
-
Empty the tank before long-term storage. If you won’t be using the pipe for an extended period, empty the tank and detach it from the bowl.
-
Recharge stored batteries every three months. This helps maintain battery condition during long periods of storage.
The solid hardwood bowl requires very little maintenance beyond keeping it clean and dry.
