1. What e-liquid PG/VG ratio is compatible with the Robusto E-Cigar blank pods?
For the best performance, we recommend using e-liquids with a 50PG/50VG ratio. 60PG/40VG and 70PG/30VG blends also work well. Using more than 70% PG can make the e-liquid too thin and lead to leaking, while more than 50% VG can make it too thick and affect proper wicking, reduce the POD lifespan and limit the number of refills.
2. How soon after adding e‑liquid to a pod can I start vaping?
After filling a brand-new pod with e‑liquid, let it sit for a few minutes so the atomizer pad has time to fully absorb the liquid. Once ready, take 10-15 quick puffs to help prime the coil and reduce the chance of leaking.
3. How many times can the blank e-cigar pod be refilled?
Each blank pod can typically be refilled up to 5 times, depending on the type and quality of e-liquid used.
4. How do I know when the pod should no longer be refilled or used?
The Robusto E-Cigar features a built-in smart protection chip that automatically locks the pod once the coil develops severe carbon buildup, causing a significant increase in resistance. This applies to both blank and prefilled pods. Another clear sign that a pod has reached the end of its life is a noticeable decline in flavour quality - if the taste becomes unpleasant or burnt, the pod should be replaced.
